LGS can offer you the following types of tuition:

  • Private lessons for skiers and boarders
  • Junior Freeriders ski courses
  • Full days instructional ski guiding

    We provide effective, high quality sessions, whatever you choose and whatever your level of snowsport.

    The LGS approach to your enjoyment and learning is fun and open-minded. We do not have a set procedure, because we understand that everyone is different.

    Whether you're a novice skier or boarder, or an experienced skier wanting to learn bumps or off-piste, we guarantee to give you the very best tuition available!


    Just a few things to bear in mind, to help you and your children get the most from your lessons:

  • Keep abilities within groups as closely matched as possible.
  • Adults learn differently from children, so it's best to keep them apart.
  • We recommend that children under 6yrs old have one hour lessons.
  • It is advisable to wear helmets, especially children.


    • Private lessons (1,2 or 3 hours. 1-6 people)

    Private tuition is an excellent way to learn as a small group, with your partner or friend, or just on a one-to-one basis. It is often the most effective choice if your main aim is to improve your snowsport.

    Your instructor will provide simple explanations, clear demonstrations and precise feedback to help take your skiing or boarding to a new level of performance and understanding.

    Please remember that we have 'lift priority' so there's no need to waste time in queues.

    Snowsport Award badges are issued to all children under 13 yrs old who have a minimum of eight hours private lessons during one week.

    Junior Freeriders courses
  • 5 x 2hrs (Ages: 7-15yrs; Level: beginners to level 5; Group size: 3-6)
  • 5 x 3hrs (Ages: 8-15yrs; Level: level 6 or over; Group size: 4-8)
  • 5 x 4hrs (Ages: 8-15yrs; Level: level 6 or over; Group size: 4-8) NEW!

    These popular courses are mainly available during school holiday periods, but we are happy to run them at other times if we have sufficient demand.

    All Junior Freeriders will receive a British Snowsport Award at the end of the week.

    Courses are a fantastic mix of technique and mileage. The exact balance will depend on the level of the group but they are all varied and great fun! We do the very best to keep abilities and ages closely matched within groups.

    Full days (minimum 6hrs skiing, Group size: 1-6)

    Ideal for more competent groups of skiers who are happy skiing reds and some blacks. Full days are a great way to see more of the area, either locally around Les Gets/Morzine, or into the heart of the Portes du Soleil and Avoriaz, Chatel or even Les Crosets in Switzerland.

    We're happy to include as much 'coaching' as you like, but please bear in mind that you'll cover less ground the more teaching's involved.

    Remember that we have 'lift priority' so we can normally avoid lift queues.
